Welcome to PhotoConception (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, services, or booking our photography services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Reservations

  • All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a signed contract and retainer fee.
  • Dates are not held without a signed agreement and deposit.

1.2 Deposits and Payments

  • A non-refundable retainer fee (typically 30% of the total package price) is required to secure your date.
  • Final payments are due 30 days prior to the wedding date, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal (additional fees may apply).

1.3 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 6 months before the wedding date will result in the forfeiture of the retainer fee.
  • Cancellations made within 6 months of the wedding date require payment of 50% of the total package price.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the wedding date require payment in full.

2. Services and Deliverables

2.1 Photography Coverage

  • Our packages include digital high-resolution images with a print release.
  • Editing and retouching are included as per the agreed package.
  • Additional services (e.g., albums, prints, or extended coverage) are available at an extra cost.

2.2 Delivery Timeline

  • A preview of your images will be provided within 2–4 weeks after your wedding.
  • Fully edited images will be delivered within 8–12 weeks, depending on the season.

2.3 Usage Rights

  • PhotoConception retains the copyright to all images.
  • You are granted a personal print and digital use license for non-commercial purposes.
  • Commercial use or publication of images requires written permission.

3. Travel and Destination Weddings

  • For weddings outside New York City, additional travel fees (flights, accommodation, meals) may apply.
  • International weddings require a minimum booking of our full-day package and coverage of all travel expenses.

4. Liability and Force Majeure

  • PhotoConception is not liable for missed shots due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, venue restrictions, or delays).
  • In the event of equipment failure, we will use backup equipment to ensure minimal disruption.
  • If the photographer is unable to attend due to illness or emergency, we will provide a qualified replacement. If no replacement is available, the retainer fee will be refunded in full.

5. Privacy Policy

  • Your personal information is collected only for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
  • We may use your images for portfolio, marketing, or social media purposes, unless you opt out in writing.

6. Changes to Terms

  • PhotoConception reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
